AP Tutors, LLC is looking for creative and flexible people who are able
to re-teach concepts in ways students can really learn! We are seeking individuals with the ability
to tutor one or more subjects: general and high school Math, reading
acquisition and fluency, reading comprehension, grammar and writing, general
homework help and study skills, Middle School science and math, GED prep,
ACT/SAT prep, special needs including dyslexia, ADD, learning disabilities and
autism, AP courses . Teaching and/or
tutoring/mentoring experience is required.
Candidates must have completed some college with a 4 year+ degree
preferred. Tutors are all independent
contractors paid per hour tutoring session completed. Candidates are expected to have a minimum
availability of 6 hours per week, provide their own transportation, and be able
to pass a background check. Please

Provide academic support to elementary, middle and/or high
school students either within their homes or the local library. Provide an initial consultation for families
that gathers information about the student's needs. Create and sell a plan that meets the stated
needs. Prepare remediation or challenge
activities based on students' needs.
Create a professional and supportive relationship with students and
parents while acting as an academic coach.
Maintain a positive and encouraging attitude. Communicate with parents and teachers about
students' progress and needs. Complete documentation as necessary.
